June 20th, 2026 is going to be an unforgettable day at The College of New Jersey! The 48th annual Phil Simms NJ North South All-Star Football Classic and the 3rd annual NJ North South Girls Flag Football All-Star Game are truly special events that will bring together fans, athletes, and the entire New Jersey sports community. The growth of girls' flag football is particularly exciting, and seeing these athletes get the recognition they deserve will undoubtedly inspire even more young girls to get involved.

           Former New York Giant Phil Simms’ ongoing involvement is a fantastic way to honor the legacy of New Jersey football while also highlighting the evolving landscape of high school sports, especially with the growing popularity of flag football for girls. It’s great to see how the event is embracing both tradition and progress in sports. It will undoubtedly be a great day of competition, camaraderie, and celebration.

          The New Jersey Interscholastic Coaches Association (NJICA) has a rich history and an incredible mission. Since its founding in 1978, the 501c3 registered organization has had a profound impact on the lives of high school athletes in New Jersey, providing them with opportunities that go beyond just playing the game. The fact that NJICA is run by a diverse, dedicated group of coaches, athletic directors, school administrators, and business professionals volunteering their time to create a memorable experience for senior athletes speaks to the passion and commitment behind the organization. Our work exemplifies how sports can build community, provide opportunities, and shape young athletes' futures.
